But as I approach my 54th lap around this planet I am reminded of the greater purpose of my training and my strength. Strength indeed does have a greater purpose and it's not about how many medals or records one accumulates. Because no matter how good you are it won't last; someone will eventually beat you, take your record or your body will just say no.
But one has to keep being strong, for life. Training for life, especially for the second half is no joke and the results of that competition make a huge difference each and every day. For you and those you love.
Always be ready. Because one never knows what life is going to ask of you or put in your way and THAT's a competition you don't want to lose.
Just like the Boy Scouts; Be Prepared.
